Who we are

This policy describes how ScreenNabster (“we,” “us”) handles personal information in connection with our website, dashboard, and screenshot/render API. For privacy requests, contact support@screennabster.com.

Information we collect

We collect categories of information needed to operate accounts, billing, and the API. The list below is illustrative, not exhaustive.

  • Account identifiers and authentication data (for example, email address and session records) processed through our authentication provider.
  • API keys and credential metadata: key prefixes, hashed or non-recoverable secrets where practical, public access keys, identifiers tied to keys, plan and quota state, and timestamps.
  • Capture request metadata such as requested URLs (and related options you send), output preferences, status, timing, quota consumption, and error codes. Do not place secrets in URLs unless you accept the risk.
  • Billing-related identifiers and events processed by our payment provider; we do not intend to store full payment card numbers.
  • Support communications and operational correspondence you send us.

Legal bases and how we use information

Depending on where you are located, different privacy laws may apply. Generally, we process information to provide and secure the service, authenticate requests, enforce quotas and acceptable use, comply with law, communicate with you, analyze reliability in aggregate, and pursue legitimate interests that are not overridden by your rights.

We do not sell personal information as that term is commonly understood in US state privacy laws.

Generated content

ScreenNabster renders screenshots, PDFs, HTML, and related outputs from URLs and inputs you submit. Generated content may traverse application and worker infrastructure during processing.

Unless a feature expressly stores output on your behalf, treat generated content as transient operational data. Metadata and usage records may be retained for operations, security, billing, and support.

Cookies, sessions, and authenticated captures

Our web application uses cookies and local storage as needed for authentication, the dashboard, preferences (such as theme), and account flows.

If you supply cookies, headers, or credentials for authenticated captures, you represent that you have the right to submit them and to target the requested content.

Subprocessors and service providers

We use subprocessors to host, authenticate, store data, limit abuse, process payments, and operate workers. They receive only data needed for their function and are contractually or terms-bound to appropriate safeguards. Official policy pages for vendors we currently rely on are linked below.

International transfers

Our service may be operated using infrastructure in multiple regions. Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required by law, we rely on appropriate mechanisms (such as standard contractual clauses or vendor programs) as offered by our providers and updated from time to time.

Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary by data category and may depend on provider backup and log policies.

Your rights and choices

You may contact us to access, correct, export, or delete certain account-related information where applicable law provides those rights.

Some records must be kept for billing disputes, fraud prevention, security investigations, or legal compliance even if you close your account.

Children

ScreenNabster is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where a higher minimum applies). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
